Adrienne Stratton Podcast: How to Achieve a Better Environment through Feng Shui with Dr. Janet Woods

Join us this Friday 12, 6pm and learn how to achieve a healthier living environment through Feng Shui with Dr. Janet Woods.

Feng Shui, an ancient Chinese practice, is a system of laws considered to govern spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to the flow of energy (Qi). It’s often used in designing buildings and interior spaces to create balance and harmony. The fundamental principle of Feng Shui is the belief that all objects possess an energy called ‘Chi’, and that you can use this chi to bring luck, wealth, and opportunity into your home.

To use Feng Shui, one of the first steps is to clear your clutter to create a harmonious and balanced environment. Clutter represents stagnant energy, and can prevent good things from flowing into your life. Another important aspect is the use of the Bagua, or Feng Shui energy map of your home, which helps you determine which areas of your home are connected to specific areas of your life.

Colors also play a significant role in Feng Shui as they are used to bring different types of energy into your home. For example, green is considered a very calming color, and it’s recommended for a home office where you need to be productive yet relaxed. On the other hand, red represents excitement and passion, but too much of it can lead to restlessness and overstimulation. Therefore, understanding the energy map of your home and applying appropriate colors can help enhance your life areas positively.
